Reproduction, restoration and repair
of early American muzzle loading rifles and shotguns.
Clouds of black powder smoke have rolled
across the American landscape for centuries. Explorers, mountain men,
settlers- hunter and all, to be sure- carried a trusted long arm as
they carved lives out of a westward-moving frontier.
Today, original arms of the pioneers
are scarce; working models come at a premium, while well- worn,
"affordable" collectibles have lost much of their character. And many
modern rifles that belch the black stuff scarcely resemble their
predecessors.
