We
are saddened to report the passing of Ed Cunningham, a charter life
member of VGCA, on December 28, 2004. Ed was an avid black powder and
black powder cartridge rifle shooter. For many years he ran the
black powder cartridge silhouette "Ram-Bash" matches at Fairfax Rod
& Gun Club. In 1987, he chaired the committee that drafted the VGCA
Bylaws. In recent years an inability to drive especially at night
may have prevented Ed's participation in many VGCA activities but it
did not diminish his interest in the association. He will be missed
by many of his friends in the organization.
